|Runnymede Garou is over! Part 2 [from March 06]
Please correct me or update me if you remember bits I have forgotten (or are plain wrong), or you have part of the story that I don't!
Also, parts of this info is only available if you can speak to one of the survivers, and the remainder happened after the last survivers left so is totally OOC ( The endingCollapse )
A big thank you to AH, our DST for Garou, and also to charliemouse
, our ASTs!
I am fairly sure I have forgotten a part - I hope that it will come back to me :) and then I will edit this.

A September day, a working week.
Blue skies. Smoke drifting gently.
The hairs on the back of your neck prickle, and time itself seems to slow.
This is the nexus point, destiny lines snarled into an indecipherable knot.( plot bomb info taken from Cam GarouCollapse )

OOC: Fights with a Savage Heart has remained at the Caern tidying up, sorting out the damage done at the begining of the month and doing her duty as Caern Warder. She did not go to the regional. Her parents are fussing but she is being cagy and staying away from home most of the time with 'friends'. She takes quick trips out of the Caern if someone else is there to grab new clothes and to grab the papers - no tech in this caern so no tv/radio - and has read the following News reports
FWaSH is not a happy Groo. You will find many papers in the Caern.
IC: swears and wonders what the hell is going on!

|Howl of Mourning!
Magpie, Rite Master of our Sept has fallen.
Tornadoes came to Dorking, IN the umbra they were serpents, they came from the abyss.
She sacrificed herself to close the abyss.
Her Life as Garou was short but a credit to us.
Her Death was honourable.
She is mourned.
She is remembered.

|Moot (June Game) - Ask and you will receive this information
There were few of us this month - 2 visitors only and 7 locals.
Short of it:
Black Unicorn told us off for not careing for those that died - must do rite of contrition and rememberance for them.
Speaks with soft heart (Morris) challenged me as Alpha. Master of Challenges [aka themadone
] declared the best of 3 chess games to be adequate for a challenge based on my tacktics.
erm, Morris won 2/3. He is now Alpha.
Fights with Thought then challenged him: Best of 3 chess games. Morris won the first 2.
I am now Warden and Keeper of the Borne (sp?) of Winding Thorns.
Beta is yet to be decided. Other positions remain the same.

|OOC: As posted to UK-Garou
I have spoken to the DST of Runnymede Garou, who is not on this list.
He said that the best way was for everything that happened at/in Runnymede Garou to have occured before the eclips started affecting us.
So we can start saying what happened?
Last Saturday was Runnymede Garou OOC but was IC on Tuesday to take advantage of the Full moon. Which was fine. However then we get hit with the fact it was also an eclipse with gooby effects (see cut at end). It was pointed out that this could affect the stuff we did (unless we acted during the day - pre-eclipse)>
Then I realised that the DST and AST are not on UK-Garou so wouldn't know about it. Bugger. So I have forwarded it and asked - yesterday.
wah!( Read more...Collapse )

|IF you can find here, guarding or around the Caern
OK, what I have seen is more choppers coming in and out on occassions, they have random patrols - they have to have 15-30 people there and they keep bringing a truck up and taking stuff away in bags. I think they are digging up the caern!
WWII arms dump my fuzzy arse!!! Current Mood: frustrated
|IC Dorking News Report
The local papers will initially report that a large dump of munitions has been found, and that experts have been brought in to detirmine their origin and safety.
A couple of days later, it will be reported that the munitions appear to be a supply stash prepared for resistance fighters in WW2 should the Germans have invaded.
Rumours that the supply cache contains chemical weapons will be strongly denied. There is no immediate danger to the general public but thereis a risk that the degraded explosives could leakinto the water supply and a cleanup is required.
The general public is advised to avoid the Glory Woods in Dorking for the time being.
OOC - sent to me by DST Runnymede Garou & given permission to post on UK-Garou, which it has been.

|Turns up at the Cairn
What the FXXK is going on???
*She will then stand quite still while whoever explains does so... Then sit down and suggest lighting a fire in a quiet voice.*
ooc: I got on UK-Garou today at about 4pm
|Monday, March 8th, 2004|
Some of the Fire Spirit's followers, and my friends, were kidnapped. So we went to help - sort of had to, they were going to start killing them if I didn't turn up with my 'friends'. Fvk. So we left the Caern guarded and went. Now how do you spell trap again???
Oh, yes, Sliver wire, silver nitrate in the gas, fomori special services types with silver bullets and green acid blood, um, any more ways?
Sigh. we got them out - most of them, and left them on the lawn, ran & phoned the cops.
Once clean - I did my fostern challenge before some of my Sept. Sept Alpha and Cliath is not a good combination. It would have been good if others had been present, but they were not. It would have been good if I could have been challenged by Arhoun, Fienna, Homid, Fostern - but my Cairn is vulnerable and I do not go far. Few such come. So the Master of Challenges set me the task to make my way around the outside of my Cairn, my responsibility, within 1 minute. I did so, without damage to the bushes, without sidestepping or cutting a pace off my line.
I am Fostern.

|At the Cairn:
Our next moot is to be this saturday.
I can't come.
It is my Grandparents Golden Wedding Anniversary and I can't miss it - I also want to talk to some folk I think may know stuff. I have had hints that some relatives know more than they let on about Garou.
So, to formal matters -
Morris is Beta. Respect him in my absence.
Magpie is Rite Master.
Just in case anyone has forgotten - Voice of Reason is Den Father, Fights with Thought is Warden.
If you don't know what a Warden does, ASK VOICE OF REASON - it is his job to teach you. But he can't teach if you don't listen or ask.
That, I think, is all that needs to be said before Saturday.

|At the Cairn - OOC
OOC: Fights with a Savage heart continues to turn up at the Cairn regularly. She will make a point of trying to talk to as many people as she can.
Also, she will be present on Thursday for the 'lecture' on the Litany promised by Voice of Reason, Den Father.
If anyone wants to talk to her, feel free to comment below - unless stated otherwise I will assume you are at the Cairn. If you think you would meet her outside the Cairn, you can 'attract her attention'.
|Continued: The Moot
We held a Moot - I shall not detail every word, you know of moots - or should.
I had been bared from answering the Litany challenge. As Den Mother last Moot I had taken the bone and said that I was getting tired of the same 2-3 people answering - J bared me from speaking and indicated that others should say more.
So this time I spoke the Litany, Morris challenged the Litany and others answered. Some did not speak, but they shall learn.
We spoke of the Death of Bob - I don't want to repeat it to you now, I want to know what his pack, his sept say of the tale that some heard at the moot. The tale is of great courage, of endevors and some very Bob behaviour. Spirit awakened alcohol drunk within the Umbra was involved, as was an argument. But most of all it was of a Garou who died fighting the Wyrm to the last and beyond.
Enough. I shall speak now of the ( challengesCollapse )
At this junction it was decided that we should move to act as our oath dictates. I shall not speak of this now. I am not happy about it, and need to learn more before I will discuss it in public. but the Philidox watched us and thought upon our actions during this time.
Finally we returned and the last challenges were arranged, one was to remove the fetish beads from J's pocket - Morris alone succeded, FwThought asked but was denied, I did not attempt.
Then the Philidox were asked to judge who was fit as per J's instructions to them. They said it had been a difficult decision but possible.
I am now Alpha of the Sept of Winding Thorns. I am no longer Den Mother.
Voice of Reason is now Den Father, listen and learn.
Fights with Thought is Warden, the protection of the Cairn is his responsibility.
I am talking to the others about what responsibilities need to be fulfilled and the best people to fill them.
